How Do I Apply for the Grow Digital Voucher?

Steps to Apply for the Grow Digital Voucher:

1. Contact Your Local Enterprise Office (LEO)
   All applications for the Grow Digital Voucher must be discussed with your Local Enterprise Office. To find your nearest office, visit: https://www.localenterprise.ie.

2. Review Eligibility Criteria
   Ensure your business meets the following requirements:

   • Business Type: You are a small enterprise with between 1 and 50 paid employees, as defined by the EU SME criteria.
     • Annual turnover or balance sheet total of €10 million or less.
     • Consider the linked companies rule:
       • Autonomous Enterprise: Independent businesses use their own data.
       • Partner Enterprise: Add a proportion (25%-50%) of the other enterprise’s data.
       • Linked Enterprise: Add 100% of the other enterprise’s data.
   • Digital Project Completion: You must have completed a Digital for Business Project within the last two years.
   • Enterprise Status: You are not a client of Enterprise Ireland or IDA.
   • Trading Period: Your business has been established and trading for at least six months, registered, and operates within your Local Enterprise Office area.
   • Solvency: Demonstrate solvency in the financial statements provided.
   • Tax Compliance: You must have current tax clearance from Revenue and supply a Tax Reference Number and Tax Clearance Access Number for verification.
   • Legal Entities Eligible:
     • Companies, self-employed individuals, or partnerships whose profits are chargeable to tax under Case I or II of Schedule D.
     • Sporting bodies and charities are also eligible if they engage in activities taxable under the same rules (or would be taxable without exemptions).

3. Assess Your Digital Readiness
   Take a free 5-minute digital assessment to find out how ‘digitally ready’ your business is. This assessment will generate a personalised digital scorecard with recommendations and supports tailored to your needs. The assessment can be a valuable tool to identify where the voucher can make the most impact.

4. Prepare the Necessary Documentation
   Have the following ready:

   • Evidence of completing a Digital for Business Project within the past two years.
   • Financial statements to demonstrate solvency.
   • Tax Reference Number and Tax Clearance Access Number.
   • Relevant data to verify your SME status under the EU SME definition.

5. Submit Your Application
   Once you’ve discussed your application with your Local Enterprise Office and gathered all required documents, follow the application instructions provided by your LEO.
